PetBuddy reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. You will be notified of any major changes affecting your use of the platform.

Use of the Website and the Services

Eligibility to Provide Services

To be eligible as a Service Provider, you must:

• Complete your profile with accurate personal and professional information.
• For Individual Services submit a valid training certificate or course credential to verify that you are a trained and qualified individual capable of providing pet-related services responsibly.
• Maintain professionalism and adhere to PetBuddy’s quality and safety standards.

Platform Fee and Tax:

PetBuddy will collect a 5% tax from each transaction made between you and your customer. This amount covers platform maintenance, operational costs, and continuous service improvements.

Pet Safety Obligation:

As a Service Provider, you are responsible for ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of every pet under your care. Any act of negligence, harm, or mistreatment may result in account suspension or permanent removal from the platform.

Live Session Requirement:

Service Provider must allow customers to view their pets via live streaming during ongoing sessions. This ensures transparency, builds trust, and provides peace of mind to pet owners.

Live streaming during pet sessions is required and mandatory. Failure of any staff member or service provider to comply with this rule will result in a ban from the platform.

Right to Cancel Services:

You have the right to cancel a service when necessary due to valid reasons. In such cases initiate a refund for the customer through the platform.

Service Conduct:

• Maintain professionalism and respect when communicating with customers.
• Provide accurate service details, pricing, and schedules.
• Avoid engaging in any form of misconduct, false advertising, or unprofessional behavior.

Account Termination:

PetBuddy reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate any part of these Terms, fail to meet quality standards, or engage in activities that harm customers or the platform’s reputation.

Privacy

PetBuddy respects your privacy and protects your personal data. We collect only the necessary information required to manage your account, verify your credentials, and process transactions.

Your personal information (such as name, contact details, and certification) will be securely stored and used only for verification and operational purposes.

PetBuddy will never sell or share your data with third parties without your consent, except when required by law.

Refund Policy

Service Provider Cancellations:

If you cancel a scheduled booking, you must issue a refund to the customer within a reasonable time through the platform’s refund system.

Customer-Initiated Cancellations:

Refund eligibility for customer cancellations will follow the cancellation terms outlined in your service listing or PetBuddy’s standard refund process.
